Nick Charest
Nick joined Maple Leaf Realty in August of 2024. He has worked in various industries, including hospitality, public relations, healthcare, and education. He earned his Bachelor’s degree from Wake Forest University in 2005. Soon after graduating, he moved to Costa Rica, where he worked as an ESL teacher. Upon returning to the U.S., he worked for a public relations firm in Miami Beach, Florida.
In 2012, Nick returned to graduate school in Tampa, Florida, where he earned an M.S. from the University of South Florida. Nick worked as a Speech-Language Pathologist in both healthcare and education settings in Florida before returning to Vermont, where he began working for the local school district as an Instructional Coach, training educators in student assessments and educational technology.
Recently, Nick decided to embark on a new adventure, earning his Vermont Real Estate License and joining Maple Leaf Realty. He loves meeting people and working with people one on one. He enjoys managing transactions from start to finish, and enjoys helping people navigate through each step of the process in their pursuit to buy or sell their homes.
Nick’s friends describe him as energetic, approachable, and inquisitive. He also loves to engage with people, share a good story with them and listen to theirs. He enjoys volleyball and golf in the warmer months, and in the winter, you may run into him at the local ski area, where he volunteers as an instructor teaching school-aged students to ski.
