Nikki Lother
“I have always wanted to make a difference in the lives of others, that has always been what drives me.”
Nikki got her real estate license and joined Maple Leaf Realty after becoming a mom. Having worked in a very successful career in fundraising for scholarship aid at local colleges, she knew how to put her clients first and how to make a hard ask during negotiations. Having just been through selling and buying her own homes, she knew just how big a difference having the right person on your team could make, and made it her goal to be the positive at the end of the tunnel for her clients.
Seeing her dedication, skills, and passion Lilli West, now Owner/Broker of Maple Leaf Realty, asked Nikki to work alongside her as her buyers agent. Together they were able to help people achieve their dreams of homeownership, some for the very first time, something that is very near and dear to Nikki’s heart.
When Lilli decided to become the next owner, she quickly began her search for the person who would share her goals and values and become Principal Broker. Nikki’s continued passion for real estate, growing her skills and knowledge, and her past experience in fundraising, program management, and mentorship of others led Lilli to ask her to get her Broker’s license and once again join her on a new and exciting journey.
Now as Principal Broker, Nikki spends her days helping lead our agents to be the very best in the industry. She most enjoys mentoring them through challenges and encouraging them and celebrating them during their successes. Welcoming and training new agents is one of her greatest passions as she gets to watch them grow and go out to make a difference in the lives of those they work with.
Although she is now found mostly behind the scenes, you can always call her for some advice on how to start your selling or buying process, have her connect you with the right agent, or pop in at the office to ask her a question.
A native of Shaftsbury and Bennington, Nikki most enjoys being a mom and wife, spending time with her family, raising her young daughter, and spoiling her three dogs, Otto and Layla and Graham.
